Common Work May Include

Early plumbing coordination helps reduce layout conflicts and supports a cleaner installation as framing, mechanical systems, fixtures, and finishes come together.

What to Have Ready

  • Plans with fixture counts and locations, and the mechanical room layout
  • Fixture and equipment selections, or at least the rough-in specifications for sinks, tubs, showers and appliances
  • The water service size and location, and where the sanitary and storm connections enter the building
  • Whether the home is on municipal water and sewer, or on a well and septic system, as many rural Halton Hills properties are
  • The schedule: when framing closes in, and when finishes start

New construction plumbing is part of TruePipe's residential work across Georgetown and Halton Hills, Acton, Milton, Oakville, Brampton and Mississauga.

New Construction FAQ

The water distribution, drain and vent piping are run through the framed structure to every fixture location, tub and shower bases and in-slab drains are set, and the system is tested before insulation and drywall close it in.

An addition ties into the existing water and drain system, so the condition and size of the existing piping matter as much as the new work. Where the addition adds a bathroom or kitchen, the drain route back to the main stack and the venting are the first things to settle.

On most builds the builder or general contractor runs the schedule and TruePipe works to it: rough-in after framing and before the walls are closed, then finish work once cabinets and tile are in. On an owner-managed build, TruePipe discusses the sequence with you directly.
